To create these beautiful hair roses, I started with three small braids and rolled up to serve as the centremost part”. Then, I alternated between standard fishtails, Dutch fishtails pulled apart to create a depth. I finish with a Dutch three strands braid only pulled out to the outermost side to create the larger petal feel of a rose in full bloom”.
To give her expert tips, Valsamis said- “it’s always important to create multiple layers with small sections to give a depth and make sure to pull apart your braids from top to bottom and from right to left. To prep up, I make sure to use light textured gel to prevent flyaways.”
